Crocheting The Panels AfghanPhoto copyright (c) 2005 by Sandi Marshall

The photo above and the following photos may help in crocheting the Panels Afghan, which is a Mile A Minute (MAM) type of pattern. The pattern directions can be printed out from the following URL:

http://crochet.about.com/library/n061398.htm (the pattern is free to print out for your own personal use)

Following are the Rnd 2 beginning directions that are shown in the photo above:

ch 3, 3 dc in next sc, dc in next sc, skip next 2 sc, (working in back loop only: 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in next sc, skip next 3 sc, in both loops: dc in each of next 3 sc

When comparing the photo to the written directions, follow the stitches on the photo from the right to the left (the same direction that you would use to crochet the round).
