Don't you just want to reach out and pet this fluffy crocheted scarf? It's a fun scarf to wear, and it's really comfortable too.
Subtle stripes add visual interest to the look. To crochet my sample scarf, I've used a mixture of three different yarns:
- A variegated eyelash yarn -- Lion Brand Fun Fur in the color combination called Citrus Print
- A solid-colored eyelash yarn -- Turquoise Lion Brand Fun Fur
- A solid-colored acrylic yarn -- Caron Simply Soft in color #9608, Blue Mint
Cool colors, including blues and greens, are the main focus.
If you would like to crochet one of these scarves, you can choose to keep the contrast level low, like I did, so that the stripes are subtle; or you could go for high contrast between your two colors of eyelash yarn, which would make for a much more noticeable and eye-catching striped design.
