Outside Round: (working down the side), ch 1, 2 sc around post of dc just made, 2 sc around post of the end dc of ea row along the side (22 sc), then for corner: (sc, ch 2, sc) in remaining loop of first st along bottom edge, sc in ea of next 26 stitches, then in last stitch along bottom edge work (sc, ch 2, sc) for corner. Next, working along the next side: 2 sc around post of the end dc of ea row along this side, then, for next corner, (sc, ch 2, sc) in top of last dc just crocheted around. Next, working along the top: sc in ea of next 6 dc, (2 sc in next ch-2 sp) 5 times, sc in ea of next 6 dc, (sc, ch 2, sc) in last dc, sl st in beginning sc of this round. How To Slip Stitch (sl st) = Insert hook in stitch, wrap yarn over hook, pull yarn through the stitch and through the loop on the hook, at the same time.
Outside Round 2: ch 1, sc in next sc, sc in ea sc around, with (sc, ch 1, sc) in ea corner ch-2 sp. At end, sl st in first sc of this round, to join.
End off. Weave in ends.
