Crocheted snowflakes make wonderful window decorations for the Holidays or for anytime during the Winter. They can also look elegant against the dark green pine needles of a Christmas tree.
Snowflakes are relatively quick crochet projects and, just like real ones, come in patterns of a large variety of shapes and styles.
When you want to send a small gift along with a card, you could slip a crocheted snowflake inside a Holiday card before mailing it out. One of the links below shows crocheted snowflakes attached to the front of cards, as another idea. Crocheted snowflakes could also be sewn to fabric clothing or accessories.
Following are links to free patterns for crocheted snowflakes, designed by Sandi Marshall.
