This beanie and scarf are far easier than they look; they are colorful crochet projects, but you don't need to know how to do color changes to achieve this sort of effect. All you need is a variegated colorway of Red Heart Super Saver yarn (or any similar worsted weight yarn that's available in variegated versions.) My sample hat and scarf were crocheted using the colorway called "Fall." It's interesting how the scarf seems to be crocheted in an unplanned sort of argyle pattern. That was completely the yarn's doing.
If you crochet the same pattern using the same yarn, you're likely to end up with a similar look, although there will probably be differences too. Yours is likely to turn out being a unique and one-of-a-kind original.
