Lynne's Review of Lion Brand Homespun Yarn

My Review 

I belong to a group that knits prayer shawls and lap blankets. Homespun is often used, but I don't like it. It's very hard to knit and splits easily. It can't be used as fringe for the shawls because it unravels. The colors are beautiful, but to me it's not worth the aggrevation.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Thanks for the review, Lynne! I can appreciate what you are saying about Homespun; it is also a challenging yarn to crochet with. I have, however, found that it works wonderfully well for Tunisian crochet. Here's a free bag pattern you could use if you ever want to try that (like maybe if you have any Homespun hanging around in your stash that you wouldn't use otherwise.)
