I also crochet prayer shawls for those with physical, emotional, or spiritual afflictions. I get the names off of my church's prayer list, and also by word of mouth-115 made so far

It just feels good to help other people and I believe that is what Jesus calls us to do. Crocheting also is a calming experience for me.
