What Types of Items Do You Crochet for Charity?
Every year we have a Christmas dinner for the homeless at the local church, Sacred Heart. We feed them dinner and the we give them a bag with donated items to help them. 2 of the 10 items in the bag are crocheted hats and scarves that my self a few elderly ladies make. They really are appreciated and are much warmer than the store bought.

Sacred Heart Church of Fall River, Massachusetts
We have been doing this now for the 8th year and a few of the ladies have passed away so we are looking for others to help us. I raise the money from real estate agents to purchase the yarn and distribute it to those who will volunteer to help.
Advice
- it really does your heart good to watch them put on the hat and scarf and its really just a simple stitch

sometimetimes people are allergic to animal hair and smoke so be careful who works on you donations
