Project Title and Brief Description
Freeform crochet rug
Tell Us All About Your Project
I started this project as a means of using up all of my stash yarn. I had lots of fun making this 36" diameter rug...used about 20 different color yarns. Made by crocheting tubes of various lengths and colors and flattening them while stitching together in a freeform shape.
Tips and Tricks
- Don't crochet 8 hours a day! Take it easy and do just a little bit everyday...I now have wrist problems after crocheting this rug and it will take months to recuperate.

To Tiamia01: Thanks for sharing this stunning freeform rug with us. WOW! That is absolutely amazing work. I really enjoyed seeing this creative and inspiring project.
I am so sorry about your wrist problems. I hope other crocheters will heed your wise advise to take it easy. I would also add, rest often and take little breaks to stretch your hands, and consider using an ergonomic crochet hook, if you aren't already. You can also experiment with different ways to hold your crochet hook. When my hands get tired, I sometimes find that switching grips helps.
